THE "V" TEAM

The Valles Team is one of totally dedicated professionals, which includes ex-seafarers who have sailed in the highest sea going ranks on a varied fleet of vessels. Team leaders have more than 10 years shore experience in their field of expertise. The "V" team has been successfully managing vessels owned by third parties for more than 50 years.

The "V" team's management philosophy is to provide a totally transparent and competent service and to manage vessels on third party management with the same outlook as those managed for the parent company.

A single dedicated Team Leader is your one point contact with the organization. The Team Leader will provide you with detailed reports on the technical management vessel at a frequency and in a format specified by you. The Team Leader is supported by other Superintendents and experts who assist him in the fields of insurance, purchase and accounting, legal and regulatory support and safety.

All vessels technically managed by Valles are maintained to the highest standards by following a well planned and continuously monitored planned maintenance program. All vessels subscribe to the MMS - Fleetworks computer based program, which is used as a tool in our Total Quality Management System. Regular MMS reports are forwarded to you for your records. All Valles Chief Engineers are certified by Classification Societies, when available, to carry out certain surveys on board and so restrict Owners cost. Valles management style is pro-active which translates into lower risk, fewer accidents and reduced down time. Additionally, due to our excellent record with Insurers third party Owners benefit with reduced premiums for vessels under Valles management.

COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT

Valles has been successfully managing vessels for about a 100 years, scaling the highs and riding out the lows of the industry. As Valles are ship owners themselves, with long established personal contacts, Valles are able to secure very competitive rates in the commercial markets. The Valles team is well experienced in pre and post fixture management, enjoying favorable rates for Agency agreements and bunker supplies. Additionally, Valles has a special Claims handling department, in the un-fortunate event that a claim should arise.

Valles has recently concluded its first deal wherein bare boat tonnage has been chartered in.

CREW MANAGEMENT

Within the industry, Valles seafarers have gained a reputation second to none. It is commendable to note that the average Valles seafarer has been sailing with Valles for over ten years. Valles runs its own training center in Bombay where both pre-sea training as well as refresher and specialized vessel specific training is carried out. This is further augmented by an established on board training regime. The Valles pool of seafarers numbers over 500 at present and is being further built up with an aggressive pre-sea training program for deck cadets, engineering cadets and ratings. Valles's philosophy is to pay for Quality which yields savings in the long term.

With its specialist in-house experience and knowledge Valles offers its services on a project basis to new-building supervision, repair jobs, superintendence, fault finding and consultancy.

Additionally, Valles enjoys a very special relationship with ship yards in Japan, Singapore and China to carry out dry docking and steel renewal.
